The breathtaking Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights, occur when charged particles streaming from the sun collide with molecules in the Earths atmosphere causing them to glow.  Aurora’s appear as yellow, green and purplish-red hues and are mostly seen at high latitudes as they rotate around the Earth’s magnetic poles.  Denali, formerly known as Mt McKinley, is the highest peak in North America at over 20,300 ft.  Stars appear as a million points of light in the pictures.
